TOPIC : GET TO KNOW HIM BY REVELATION.

BOOK: THOUGHTS OF TREASURE DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

I received my message from no human source, and no one taught me. Instead, I received it by direct revelation from Jesus Christ.(Galatians 1:12).

One of the greatest and the beautiful things that could happen to anyone is to know the Lord by revelation. It takes a revelation to know God. You can study the Bible, attend every church services, pray always without having a personal revelation from the Lord. You will see that in 1 samuel 3. Revelation is the impartation of divine knowledge by the Holy Spirit. Man can only know God and hear God by His Spirit because God is a Spirit. (John 4:23-24.). God does not just grant His revelation to everyone. You will have to seek Him and hunger for it. If you have passion and a burning desire, it will be easy for you to find Him and He will reveal Himself to you for, "...Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.."(Matthew 5:6). Hallelujah. Paul had a burning desire for Justice before He was converted as a Christian. He said in Galatians 1:14-16

I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers, But when God, who set me apart from my mother's womb and called me by His grace, was pleased, to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being.". Hallelujah. The question today is, Has He been revealed in you? This is what God seeks to do, to reveal to you the revelation of Christ. Christianity is the revelation of Jesus Christ in a man's life.

Paul says in our opening scripture that he received his message by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Let me give you a background of what Paul was saying here. He wrote this to the Galatian Christians and at the time of this writing, the Galatian Christians had been influenced by the law, the teachers of the law had been handed a material and what to teach, they were taught a message that was well packaged and they would just go and deliver the message. They could just read it through and anyone could do that. So in Galatians 1:11 Paul said to them "I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man." In other words, he was telling them that the gospel he preached was not of human origin, it's not according to men, I was not taught at the mental realm by men but by revelations. The Holy Spirit can teach you by revelation. For example, as you are reading this or when you study the Bible, He can open your understanding to understand things and the scriptures beyond the written pages. Hallelujah. The Bible showed us in Luke 24:45 how Jesus opened the minds of His disciples so they could understand the Scriptures.

Having personal revelation of Jesus is so important. What God wants is not for us to just have a religious knowledge. In Colossians 1:26-27 the Bible says that "the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord's people.To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." This is what it is all about and the essence of Christianity. The purpose of Christianity is not to pass religious knowledge to you, the purpose is not to help you to have understanding of the spirituals. The purpose is Christ in you. Christianity is Christ revealed in you. This is what God wants to do for everyone. The scripture says that Christ in you is your hope of glory.Hallelujah. Christ in you the Hope of glory.

Christ in you is your hope of victory, the Bible says in 1 John 5:4 that for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Hallelujah. 1. ONE OF THE GREATEST AND BEAUTIFUL THINGS THAT COULD HAPPEN TO ANYONE IS TO KNOW THE LORD BY REVELATION. (Galatians 1:11-16).

2. GOD IS A SPIRIT AND MAN CAN ONLY RELATE TO GOD WITH HIS SPIRIT AND KNOW HIM AND HAVE HIM REVEALED TO YOU BY REVELATION.(John 4:23:24).

3. THERE HAS TO BE A PASSION AND A BURNING DESIRE FOR JUSTICE IN YOUR HEART BEFORE GOD CAN REVEAL HIMSELF TO YOU.(Matthew 5:6,Galatians 1:13-16).

4. JESUS OPENED THE MINDS OF HIS DISCIPLES SO THEY COULD UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURE. WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT YOU CAN READ THE BIBLE FROM COVER TO COVER WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING IT.(Luke 24:45).

5. THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN TEACH YOU THE SCRIPTURES BEYOND THE WRITTEN PAGES, HE CAN TEACH YOU THINGS AND REVEAL GOD TO YOU.(John 16:13-14, John 14:26).

6. THE PURPOSE OF CHRISTIANITY IS NOT SO WE HAVE A RELIGIOUS KNOWLEDGE OR UNDERSTANDING OF THE SPIRITUALS BUT FOR CHRIST TO BE REVEALED IN YOU. (Colossians 1:26-27).

7. GET TO KNOW GOD BY REVELATION. CHRISTANITY IS CHRIST IN YOU THE HOPE OF GLORY. IT IS CHRIST REVEALED IN YOU.(Colossians 1:27, Galatians 1:15-16).

AFFIRMATION.

My heart yearns after you Lord, For you satisfiy the longing soul, and the hungry soul you fill with good things. Reveal more of you in me and through me.You, oh Lord, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. Let your word, wisdom and power be revealed in me in Jesus Name. Amen.
